Bona Mix & Fill Plus

Bona Mix&Fill Plus presents a water-based binder with an exceptionally high solids content, perfect for efficiently filling gaps and voids in wooden floors. Typically, only a single application is needed to fill the gaps in a newly installed parquet floor. Ideal for light to medium coloured wood species like oak, beech, pine, maple, and similar, it's suitable for gaps up to 3 mm wide. Key Features: Outstanding filling capability Rapid drying Water-based yet anti-corrosive (avoids rust stains) Very low solvent content Preparation: Ensure the floor is properly acclimatized to its intended environment, dry, and free from wax, dirt, and other contaminants. Sand the floor to bare wood, reaching a grit of 60-80 before the final cut. Ensure the room temperature and product temperature stay above +13C during application and drying. Application: Thoroughly shake the can before use. Mix the product in a container with fine, clean wood dust until achieving a smooth consistency. Apply the mixture evenly across the entire floor using a stainless steel trowel, repeating the process if necessary. Once the surface is dry, sand off any excess Mix&Fill Plus using a belt and edge sander with grit 100-120. Treat the floor with any Bona coating system following the respective user instructions.
